REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

  • At ASTER X we understand that online shopping can sometimes be difficult, and we want you to be happy with your purchase.  If you are not satisfied, we will accept return of an unworn item within 21 days of receiving your order. Please follow our returns guidance below to obtain a refund. 

  • We do not offer exchanges. If you would like to exchange an item, you will need to return it under the same terms as a regular return, and place an order for a new item.

 WHICH ITEMS ITEMS MAY BE RETURNED AND WHEN

  • Any items that, together with their branded packaging, are unworn, undamaged and are in their original condition, except:
    • Items purchased on Sale / at Discount, unless it is the First Order discount you may have received when you joined our mailing list; and
    • Gift Cards.
  • Any faulty items.

There are timing restrictions applicable to all returns:

  • If you would like to return an item, you have to notify us within 7 days from the order delivery date, through the online Returns Center (see below for detailed instructions) and then return it within 21 days of receiving your order.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

  • If you would like to return an item, please notify us through our online Returns Center at https://asterx.returnscenter.com/ within 7 days from receiving your order.  
  • For your convenience, this link is also written in the Packing Slip document that arrives with your parcel.
  • You will be asked to enter your Order Number and your Email Address, then select the items you wish to return, provide your comment and submit the request.
  • This step must be done within 7 days from your order delivery date for your return to be accepted. 
  • We will check your request against our returns policy within 24 - 48 hours and send you an email with shipping instructions to the nearest location in your country.
  • You will need to post returned items within 21 days of receiving your order. Returns postmarked outside the 21 day window will not be accepted.
  • After we receive your items, we will check they are in their original condition and, once confirmed, we will process your refund within 5 to 10 working days. 

 COST OF RETURNS 

  • We do not charge restocking fees, so long as you make sure you return the items and their branded packaging unworn, undamaged and in their original condition.
  • You will need to pay for your own shipping back to us at an address in your country, and you may use any local carrier of your choice.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for return packages lost in transit, therefore we require for all return parcels  to have a tracking number, which can be used as proof of postage with your carrier.  You will also be requested to provide us with this number so that we can easily identify your parcel and process it quickly.
  • Please note that occasionally, but very infrequently, we may need to redirect your return parcel abroad; and if this happens, we will automatically arrange our own shipping for your return items, at our cost and at our responsibility. In this case, we will send you a shipping label to our non-local address, paid for by us, after you notified us of your return request.

VARIANCE IN JEWELRY AND FAULTY ITEMS

We take great care to quality check all our items, both at the time they are produced and just before we ship them, however, occasionally there may be a fault we did not find. Please note that wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Our jewelry is made from precious metals that naturally oxidize and change in time, and this is not considered a manufacturing fault.  Additionally, loss of stones or breaking and chipping due to mishandling is also not considered a manufacturing fault. 

We do not accept any returns for tarnished metal that has occurred due to wear, or that has come into contact with chemicals of any kind, this includes perfume, moisturizers, hair products and skin care. Please ensure you clean your jewelry with a polishing cloth after each wear to avoid any tarnishing. Consult our Care Guide here

Additionally, we take care to ensure that the look of our items is fairly represented by our product photography. However, it is not possible to ensure complete likeness, because what you see online is also a function of the device from which you are viewing our product pictures; there are variations in tone and color across all electronic devices. 

Please note that since all items are measured by hand, small variations in sizes are to be expected and are not considered a manufacturing fault.
